Leigh is not the first trainer I’ve worked with, but she will be my last. Leigh and I started together a little over a year before my wedding. She has pushed me hard and helped me reach my goals. Everything from workouts to diet plans Leigh had me covered. I don’t think I’ve ever been in better shape then my wedding week. I definitely never felt better. Leigh makes you want to workout. Not just because you envy her own muscle, but because she makes each workout fun. Well you find fun in the pain. You discover you are way stronger than you think. Each week your pleasantly surprised with how far you’ve come. But why I’ll never need/want any other trainer is Leigh listens to my body. I have an injury in both my knees and we constantly modify to accommodate that injury. When I found my body was under stress, causing my nervous system to betray me, Leigh didn’t just get frustrated or not believe me like most trainers. She changed our routine to make sure I got the most out of each workout. 2 years laters later I am stronger and more comfortable in my skin. I couldn’t have found a better person to help me stay healthy and happy in my body.

Leigh is an amazing trainer and a great person. I started my personal training with Leigh during a time in my life when I felt I was at a crossroad. What I needed was inspiration and motivation and someone who would hold me accountable at the gym. I needed someone who could get me in good physical health (looking ripped) but also someone who would understand that some days would be harder for me than other days; both physically and mentally. And here is where Leigh comes in. In training with Leigh over the past year I have gained not only better physical health, but a solid foundation to a more healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Every day she pushes me closer towards my goals and expects a lot from me, which keeps me motivated and goal oriented. She is very accommodating to my needs and constantly checks on me. The comfort level I have with her is so high because of her personality as well as her professionalism. She demands a lot of me in each training session, and if strength is your goal, she is your girl. She has built my body into such a strong, curvaceous and toned body.

I started working with Leigh with the initial goals of getting stronger, losing some fat, and learning how to lift to manage PCOS symptoms. As someone who has mainly done yoga/barre/pilates, learning to lift was really intimidating but Leigh is so warm and welcoming to beginners. But don’t be fooled by her kind exterior. She will really work you! I never thought I would be going from 10 lbs squats in barre to hip thrusting more than 400 lbs in less than 6 months. Without her pushing and encouraging me, I’d never get through those last reps and have the guns that I do now.
What sets Leigh apart is that she really listens to you and has an immense wealth of knowledge. On days you don’t feel well or have an achy muscle, she’ll quickly switch up an exercise and adapt to you instead of making you slog through a set program like so many other personal trainers. If you ask a fitness question, you’ll always get an answer backed in facts, science, and experience.
Working with Leigh helped me gain a lot of confidence in the gym in a short time. Once you realize that lifting 400+ lbs of iron is achievable, you’ll want to strive for so much more than just a really great butt. The confidence in the gym has translated to so many other parts of my life.

Leigh has been not only a game-changer but a life-changer. I have had trainers in the past, but Leigh is something else. She combines innovative weight training (which I never had) interspersed with dedicated (and quite effective) cardio sequences (which she aptly calls “hits”)-all with a good sense humor and toughness laced with sensitivity. Leigh also has provided immensely helpful diet, nutritional and “life” advice. Since I have been training with Leigh, I feel and look better, have newfound strength and better balance. I recommend Leigh without qualification to anyone who wants to train on the next level to reach their goals.
I can’t imagine what my life would be like without Leigh or her training. Truly. The physical benefits, I was somewhat prepared for. The increased strength, muscle and definition in my glutes, quads and hamstrings. The improved mobility in my upper body (specifically my back and shoulders). Sidenote, I used to not be able to squat without neck and shoulder pain but thanks to her I can squat pain-free now and have set new PRs. But the mental benefits, the increased energy, clarity and focus were all a pleasant surprise and greatly improved my quality of life. Although the physical progress is addicting, the mental progress is even better because if affects how I show up in life, at work and for others. I have been training with Leigh since May 2020. From 2020 – 2021 we focused on lower body/glutes and now in preparation for my wedding in September 2022 we are focusing on full body. Not only do I see a visual difference in my body, I feel it. Exercises involving my lower back would leave me in pain and they are easier for me now as she has strengthened my hips and glutes. Leigh has been my personal trainer since February 2022.
